Are your technicians Alberta certified in plumbing and gas trades?
All of our plumbing professionals are Certified Journeyman and/or Indentured Apprentices, so you know they have a solid foundation of skills and knowledge, as required by the Alberta Apprenticeship Board, for their level. Our plumbing professionals have honed their skills with years of practical experience in the field. There is no problem that collectively, they cannot solve.
How do you keep up to date with the latest trends, technologies and practices in the industry?
As an employer, we believe in life-long learning. We encourage and support personal and professional development throughout our organization. We support our plumbing professionals in their pursuit of the Journeyman trade designation. We take advantage of supplier sponsored training on new equipment and technologies whenever we can. We offer comprehensive safety training and look to industry leaders to emulate best practice.
Do you carry business liability insurance and are you fully covered by WCB?
Yes we do, and we will provide proof of each on request.
Do you have well stocked service vehicles, for one-stop repair?
Yes. If you need a more specialty item that we do not have in stock, we have the ability with our contacts in the industry, to bring that item in as necessary and as soon as possible.
Do you warranty/guarantee your work?
Yes - 100% - if any fixture, service, or equipment you received from Bill’s Plumbing & Heating fails under normal wear conditions in the first year, we will repair or replace at absolutely no charge to you!
I see that you offer a customized preventative maintenance program – Can you tell me more about that?
The program entitles you to 3 checks a year, by a plumbing professional, to catch problems before they happen. Having your boiler system inspected regularly can prolong its lifespan and increase efficiency. If there is any sign of trouble, our plumbing professionals will find it and fix it BEFORE it becomes a big problem.
I called your company because of the service you offer, but what if the plumber you've sent before is no longer with you? Do you still have all the information you need about my place of business, or my home to do the job efficiently?
We track your service history for you. We maintain a computerized database of information that allows us to see previous work performed at that address. If you've had work done with us any time since 1985, we have the details of that service and will be able to help you. So regardless of which of our plumbing professionals provided the service originally, they have access to all of the information and you will be treated to the same excellent service.
Our system also allows for tracking of future dated services like our Customized Preventative Maintenance Contracts, Spring and Fall Maintenance, call us to find out about our seasonal packages.
